Private guided walk-and-wade trips for one or two anglers. Steelhead, trout and carp all share the same base rate.

Every trip is private. You are not sharing a guide with strangers, and you are not sharing the water with another party.

Rates are in Canadian dollars and apply to the trip, not per person. Maximum three anglers.

- A valid Ontario fishing licence
- Waders, if you have them
- Polarized sunglasses
- Weather-appropriate clothing

- Your own rod, if you would rather fish it
Half day, full day or a lesson?
Half day
Four hours. Enough to fish a couple of good runs properly. Best if you already have some experience, or if you want to try a fishery before committing a whole day to it.
Full day
Seven to eight hours. The most water, the most fish and by a wide margin the most teaching time. If you are new to centerpin or to Euro nymphing, this is the one that changes how you fish.
Private lesson
Three hours built around one problem. Cheapest way to fix a specific thing — a cast that collapses, a drift that drags, takes you cannot feel.
Booking and cancellation
A 50% deposit reserves your date. The balance is due on the day of the trip.

Rates questions
Is the rate per person or per trip?
Per trip. The rate covers the trip for the number of anglers shown, so two anglers at $625 for a half day is $625 total, not each.
Why are steelhead, trout and carp the same price?
Because it keeps the decision simple. You pick the fishery that suits the date and what you want to learn, rather than picking the cheaper one.
What is included?
Rods, reels, centerpin tackle, flies, terminal tackle, leaders, tippet, instruction, photos, river planning and a safety briefing. You bring a licence, clothing, food and water.
How do I pay the deposit?
Payment details are arranged when your date is confirmed.
Do you take three anglers?
Yes — a third angler is $100 on top of the two-angler rate. Beyond three, the teaching gets thin and the river gets crowded, so three is the limit.
